Meet Dr. Judith Davis, Founder of the Emotional Comfort® Technique

Hello, I’m Judith Davis, a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst. I understand firsthand what happens when people don’t take care of themselves. While we help others, we may neglect ourselves in the process. I want you to welcome peace and comfort through an easy and proven process you can do yourself in just a few minutes a day (because I know how busy you are). When I discovered a special mental pathway in my clinical work, it amazed me! Here’s why it was surprising: I did my medical training at Yale Medical School, my psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Hospital, and my psychoanalytic training at the Chicago Institute for Psychoanalysis. In my career, I had a private practice, taught and supervised residents in the psychiatry department at several medical schools, taught at the Institute for Psychoanalysis, and created psychotherapy training programs at Northwestern Medical School and the Institute for Psychoanalysis. I’ve seen and done a lot in my decades of practice. Discovering this unique mental pathway was a pivotal moment because it would eventually empower people like you to take personal control of your emotional freedom!
